NRSWA – Operatives & Supervisor Streetworks Refresher Course

COURSE DETAILS

The NRSWA Streetworks refresher course (New Roads and Street Works Act 1991) enables operatives or supervisors to renew their NRSWA certificate and SWQR card.

Delegates can complete the refresher course (Operatives or Supervisors) even if their card has expired within the last five years. Both our Operative and Supervisor Reassessment courses are approved and accredited by CABWI and registered with the Streetworks Qualification Register (SWQR) to enable you to receive your ID card post course completion, ensuring they meet industry standards and are in line with regulations.

This streetworks refresher course is for operatives and supervisors actively involved in or supporting roads, streets, and pathway works who wish to renew their NSRWA certificate and SWQR card and refresh their streetworks knowledge. It is also suitable for those requiring an NRSWA reassessment.

ASSESSMENT

This streetworks reassessment course involves 2 days of training and technical tests, with a high proportion of group exercises and continuous oral and practical assessments, supplemented with video and classroom-based tutorials.

An NRSWA refresher training group may include a mix of both Operatives and Supervisors. Our refresher course provides a comprehensive review of the most up-to-date NRSWA practices and standards.

You can attend a street works refresher course near you in a classroom and practical setting at our Streetworks Training Centre in Birmingham.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the street works refresher course, delegates will receive a certified CABWI certificate for all modules completed and a SWQR ID card. The SWQR card is renewable every five years.

COMPETENCY

The reassessment course equips delegates with updated knowledge on the New Roads and Street Works (NRSW) Act, including selecting appropriate PPE and equipment, performing relevant duties in line with current legislation and ACOP, and maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and others.
