Our EUSR SHEA Power course is our one-day training for Supervisors, Managers and Operatives who work in the Power industry and who require an EUSR card to get on-site for their job, including permanent and temporary sites.

This training is essential for ensuring the safety of workers who are responsible for maintaining the reliability of power systems, compliance with regulations, and updating one’s knowledge to the changing landscape of the energy industry.

SHEA Power comprises 8 modules covering key areas:

  • Module 1: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
  • Module 2: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
  • Module 3: Identifying and controlling risks
  • Module 4: Common hazards and controls in the workplace
  • Module 5: Occupational health hazards
  • Module 6: Responding to emergencies
  • Module 7: Power generation, transmission, and distribution
  • Module 8: Power industry hazards

This scheme aligns with CITB standards and provides a structured approach to safety within the power sector.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Managers, supervisors, safety professionals, or operatives working on operational sites and those needing to understand SHEA Power principles and safe practices in the power sector.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures in power generation and distribution

COURSE DETAILS

DURATION: Full Day or Half Day

DELIVERY METHODS: Face-to-face classroom training or Online Remote e-Classroom.

NUMBER OF LEARNERS: Maximum of 12 learners per day.

ASSESSMENT: Multiple choice assessments per module. Tests are invigilated to ensure authenticity and reliability.

CERTIFICATION: Successful learners will receive an EUSR ID card with the CSCS Logo, valid for 3 years.
