EUSR

Course Overview

The Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) sets the training standards for the energy and utilities sector, offering a wide range of EUSR training qualifications. Our EUSR approved courses include Locating Utility Services (HSG47), Safe Excavation Practices, and support systems installation. In addition, we are the UK’s only provider to offer the EUSR-approved Supervision of Utilities Works – Construction Operations course. Additionally, we offer specialised EUSR skills training such as the National Water Hygiene Course (Blue Card) for clean water sites and the Safety, Health & Environmental Awareness (SHEA) course for general workplace safety in the water industry, and more.

Outcome

Upon successfully completing our EUSR courses, delegates will receive a certificate, an EUSR ID Card and access to the virtual card App that’s stores your qualifications in a digital wallet. Successful candidates will also be added to the EUSR registry, which details the specific qualifications attained, including additional certifications and cards such as the Health & Environmental Awareness card. These EUSR qualifications are recognised across the energy and utilities industry, demonstrating your commitment to safety.

Delivery

The EUSR courses are delivered by our experienced and approved trainers, who provide both interactive classroom sessions and hands-on practical activities (depending on the course). We offer a variety of EUSR courses at our Birmingham City Centre venue in Bordesley Green, as well as Boldmere, Walsall and Nottingham. We also have the capability to deliver these courses on-site at our clients’ locations upon request. Additionally, EUSR SHEA and National Water Hygiene courses can be delivered either online or at one of our designated venues. Please refer to the individual course pages for detailed information on the specific delivery options available for each course. Delegates are assessed through a mix of theoretical assessments and practical learning throughout the course to demonstrate their understanding and competence. Completion of these assessments is required to attain the qualification.
