This IOSH Working Safely course aims to give you an understanding of the essentials of health and safety in the workplace. This Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Working Safely course delivers delegates essential knowledge to understand why they must work safely to benefit themselves and those around them. Developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the course teaches to the high standard of Health and Safety promoted by this globally chartered body, providing employees with practical, jargon-free knowledge and skills that they can apply effectively to the workplace.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The IOSH Working Safely qualification is aimed at people from any sector who want to learn basic health & safety. You can utilise this training in any workplace, which makes the knowledge you gain from this course transferable.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN

IOSH Working Safely includes 4 units of study:

  • Module 1: Introducing working safely
  • Module 2: Defining hazard and risk
  • Module 3: Identifying common hazards
  • Module 4: Improving safety performance

COURSE DETAILS

DURATION: 1 day course.

DELIVERY METHODS: Open Course | On Site.

  • For us to deliver a IOSH course in-house, there must be no more than 12 delegates attending.

ASSESSMENT: At the end of the IOSH Working Safely course candidates will be required to carry out the following:

  • Part 1: Short multiple-choice assessment paper. (20 mins).
  • Part 2: Hazard spotting exercises.

CERTIFICATION: IOSH Working Safely certificate.

OTHER INFO

Good understanding of spoken and written English. IOSH recommends that delegates refresh their training every 3 years to keep their knowledge up to date.
