What is Scaffolding Appreciation?
The scaffolding appreciation course provides essential knowledge on:
- ✔️ The different types of scaffolding used or available in construction.
- ✔️ Key legal and guidance for safety requirements for scaffolding on-site.
- ✔️ The ability to identify compliant vs. non-compliant scaffolding contractors and best practices expected on a construction project.
- ✔️ Understanding management responsibilities for scaffolding safety and supervision and relevant processes to a safe erection and dismantle of any would-be structure.
This course is NOT a replacement for a formal scaffolding inspection qualification, but rather a SUPER enhanced awareness course for those managing or supervising scaffolding operations at the site level. It offers far more depth than general safety courses like SMSTS, SSSTS, or NEBOSH when it comes to scaffolding knowledge.
Can I Inspect Scaffolding After This Course?
Only individuals who are competent and formally trained can conduct official scaffold inspections. This course does not replace full scaffolding inspection training but is designed to equip managers and supervisors with the knowledge to identify risks, ensure compliance, and process such as due diligence and oversee scaffolding operations with confidence.
