Description
You must have a rescue plan when Working at Height
Our Deep Excavation Rescue Course is designed to enable workplaces where an incident could potentially happen involving any Excavation, where persons requiring assistance, to create a pre-planned rescue plan and train a competent team to initiate and conduct a safe rescue in a timely manner. The course provides guidance on the planning, measures, methods, equipment, skills and procedures required for a successful and safe rescue.
Any emergency action and rescue plan must be viable and tested to ensure it works and the team members trained do not let their skills deteriorate. This means safe and effective arrangements must be made onsite to deal with foreseeable situations where it would be necessary to rescue a person requiring assistance from the excavation. Health and safety legislation requires that safe systems of work be in place for all work activities, along with the duty to provide a means of safe rescue.
