Requirement to access clean water sites
PGL’s accredited EUSR National Water Hygiene (blue card) training is a requirement for all individuals entering clean water sites or working on the clean water network, known as ‘Restricted Operations’. The scheme ensures the protection of public health and promotes good water hygiene practices. The scheme was developed in collaboration with all UK water companies and is a requirement for access onto clean water sites or ‘Restricted Operations’. Sites include work on service reservoirs, water pumping stations, water treatment works, wells, springs, boreholes and work on the network of water mains and service pipes
Anyone who works in either Water Treatment or Construction Industries, where they may come into contact with Potable Water.
DURATION: 1/2 Day.
DELIVERY METHODS: Open Course | Online (Live Tutor)
ASSESSMENT: Learners are required to sit the National Water Hygiene Test.
CERTIFICATION: On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive an EUSR National Water Hygiene Card, which is valid for 3 years.
COMPETENCY: Learners are able to understand and recognise hazards associated with potable water.
