What Is the CAT & Genny Training Course?
CAT and Genny training, also referred to as Cable Avoidance Training, ensures that workers understand how to locate underground utilities safely using electromagnetic location techniques. The training focuses on avoiding contact with buried cables, pipes, and other services by using CAT & Genny equipment properly.

- Assessment: Practical assessment and tutor observation
- Certification: Certificate of Competence issued on successful completion

- Refresher Required: After 3 years or as per company policy
