PGL’s HACCP regulated course and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to develop a learner’s knowledge and skills in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) based food safety management procedures within a manufacturing environment. A must for management, but also a critical need for food businesses in regards to food hygiene rating scores and the need to show correct paperwork and testing.

The QA Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing (RQF) is ideal for managers and supervisors that are responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of HACCP based food safety management procedures in a food manufacturing environment. This qualification may also be suitable for owners and managers of small food businesses to help develop their knowledge of HACCP based food safety management procedures.

COURSE DETAILS

DURATION: 3 Days.

DELIVERY METHODS: Open Course | On Site | Virtual (Zoom or Teams).

ASSESSMENT: 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).

CERTIFICATION: Successful learners will receive a personalised QA Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted.

COMPETENCY: Development and maintenance of HACCP based food safety management procedures.

The maximum period to achieve this qualification, including any referrals is 10 weeks. The total number of hours required for a Learner to achieve this qualification is split over 2 elements:
• Guided Learning Hours (GLH) is the time a Learner is being taught and assessed under the immediate guidance of a Trainer/Assessor, which for this qualification is 20 GLH (minimum), and
• The number of hours a Learner will reasonably be likely to spend in preparation and study, including
assessment, as directed by, but not under the immediate guidance or supervision of a Trainer, e.g. pre-course reading, which for this qualification is 10 hours
