Tower Crane Rescue

You must have a rescue plan when Working at Height

Our Tower Crane Rescue Course is designed to enable workplaces where an incident could potentially happen involving a Tower Crane Operative, or other persons requiring assistance, to create a pre-planned rescue plan and train a competent team to initiate and conduct a safe rescue in a timely manner. The course provides guidance on the planning, measures, methods, equipment, skills and procedures required for a successful and safe rescue.

A tower crane emergency action and rescue plan must be viable and tested to ensure it works and the team members trained do not let their skills deteriorate. This means safe and effective arrangements must be made onsite to deal with foreseeable situations where it would be necessary to rescue a person requiring assistance from the tower crane structure. Health and safety legislation requires that safe systems of work be in place for all work activities, along with the duty to provide a means of safe rescue.
