The pinnacle NVQ for Construction
The NOCN Cskills Awards Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management (Construction) qualification enables the learner to recognise their skills, knowledge, and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out the role of a Senior Manager.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This qualification is for those who are working in occupational health and safety practitioner roles within an organization and want to gain further qualifications based on competence (Doing The Job) rather than more formal examination routes.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
- Control projects in construction management.

- Manage project processes in construction management.

- Plan a construction organization’s workforce.
- Provide advice, judgment, and service ethically in construction management.
The learner will also learn key practical skills and knowledge in nine of the following optional units:
- Control budgets and contract payment entitlement in construction management.
- Direct the management of design development and processes in construction management.
- Ensure that contracts are prepared, negotiated, and agreed in construction management.
- Establish project procurement arrangements in construction management.
- Evaluate and progress the resolution of contractual disputes in construction management.
- Evaluate sustainable resources and requirements for the whole lifecycle of a construction project.
- Implement, monitor, and control strategic procurement systems in construction management.
- Manage marketing and customer service in construction management.
- Manage the preparation and submission of estimates, bids, and tenders in construction management.
- Managing tendering processes in construction management.
- Managing the handover of the construction project in the workplace.
- Prepare and agree a project brief and outline program in construction management.
- Sustainability and environmental impact of developments in construction management.
ASSESSMENT
Your allocated Assessor will work with you to plan what and how you will provide evidence for each unit. Throughout the NVQ process, your Assessor will review and update your Portfolio (Portfolio is the term used for the evidence document). Once you have completed all of the units, the Assessor will review the portfolio and provide feedback. Our Internal Quality Assurer will then verify the contents and authorize the qualification.
COURSE DETAILS
DURATION: This varies depending on how quickly the learner can gather/upload evidence. But there is no deadline – work at your own pace.

- Grant Rate & Tier: £140 (Tier 2) | Grant Code: Automatic Payment
SKILLS & TRAINING FUND: Are you a CITB-Registered employer, up to date with your Levy return and employ between 1-250 direct staff or CIS (No PAYE). If you answered yes, this training MAY be offset with funding as part of an application for between £2,500 up to £25,000 for training your workforce.
