This NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety course aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding, when combined with relevant experience, to carry out an effective fire risk assessment, as well as embed good practice in the workplace.

With the knowledge you gain from the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety course, you will protect yourself and others in the workplace by effectively managing day-to-day risks and know how to help their employers avoid the damaging and sometimes catastrophic losses that result from fire.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety qualification is aimed at health and safety managers, facilities managers, health and safety representatives and anybody who manages fire safety as part of their duties within their organisation.

COURSE DETAILS

DURATION: 5 day course.

DELIVERY METHODS: Open Course | On Site.

  • For us to deliver a NEBOSH course in-house, there must be no more than 12 delegates attending. Delegates must also sit the designated exams provided by NEBOSH.

ASSESSMENT: The NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate course consists of two assessments:

  • FSC1- An online, open book examination which candidates have 24 hours to complete.
  • FSC2- A practical fire risk assessment which candidates are required to complete in their workplace, using frameworks and standards, such as the Home Office fire guidance and PAS79-1:2020. There is no time restriction for the risk assessment, but three hours is recommended to compile a comprehensive risk assessment.

Your assessment will be marked by an external examiner appointed by NEBOSH. These examiners are chosen for their experience and expertise to ensure that learners are assessed by the very best in our industry.
