• What is health and safety awareness?
  • This document outlines your individual and employer’s responsibilities, as well as what you can do if you feel someone’s health and safety is in danger.
• What are the 3 main factors that influence health and safety?
  • World Health Organization definitions define human factors as “environmental, organizational, and job factors, as well as human and individual characteristics that affect work behavior in a way that affects health and safety.”
• What is CITB health and safety?
  • Construction workers can demonstrate their safety skills by passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test. Additionally, it gives them peace of mind knowing that their colleagues are as safe on the site and will not put them at risk.
• Is CITB the same as CSCS?
  • Due to the relationship between the two bodies, you may hear CSCS cards referred to as CITB cards. There is no difference! In order to get a CSCS card, applicants must complete the necessary qualifications for the role.
• How do i get a CSCS green card?
  • To get a CSCS Green Card you must complete the Health and Safety Awareness qualification. This used to mean you had to attend class room training for a full day. Now the Online Green Card Course allows you to complete the training from your computer in half the time. Once completed it is valid for a full 5 years.
